Yesterday, I found out that my core students (The Investors Roundtable)had planned to be at eviction court today (Wed) at 2pm to do their assigned field assignment. I have to admit, I was a bit skeptical they would attend because it was at a relatively inconvenient time for them to attend. They all had jobs and it certainly wasn’t during the lunch hour. So, I did not expect all of them to attend.
I made a surprise visit and found the entire core group was there! I was extremely proud of them for making such an effort to do fufill their field assignment and attend the court hearing.
They were also surprised I would pop in on them. (Hey, that is why I have my own business… to have the flexibility to be where I want to be when I need to!) I was able to give a short debriefing and explanation of what had transpired.
These individuals I barely knew a couple of months ago have come a long way since the launching of The Investors Roundtable. These students are excited and I foresee them making their first investment property purchases later this year.
I am proud of what they have learned and achived thus far. I push them hard and they have responded well. That is all a teacher and coach can hope for.
