"Incredible Discoveries" Information Page(Related companies: O2 Media, BrandStar Entertainment, Quorum Productions)Last Updated: 3/4/2010 |
Purpose of this Information Page The purpose of this page is to provide information and commentary for which people can judge for themselves whether someone should work with Incredible Discoveries or not. As editor of this page, I have no axe to grind with these folks. They have never been rude, mean, or done anything that "wronged" me. My few interactions with Incredible Discoveries have been professional and courteous. And that is it. But why then do I do this page? Because I frequently get calls and emails from out of the blue from people who want to know my opinion about Incredible Discoveries despite the fact I have written about this in my Blog. I try to be polite and help these callers and emailers but quite frankly, it is a waste of my time. I have many other things I prefer to do than talk about Incredible Discoveries. I do not want to take any more calls or respond to any more emails regarding Incredible Discoveries. I have decided I would simply acknowledge this one last time and put what I know that can easily be substantiated on this website. I cannot endorse them because I never worked with them. I also cannot publicly condemn or accuse them of any wrong-doing because I do not have first-hand knowledge of what they do and how do they do things. But I do have a LOT of people sending and feeding me (in confidence) second-hand information and their opinions which I simply collect and assemble into my electronic and physical files. (I keep them because one never knows what can happen in life.) Whether you are dealing with Incredible Discoveries or any other company, do your homework and think objectively! No one can do it for you. Sincerely, Matthew S. Chan, Publisher & Independent Reporter My Story
After some personal investigation and Google searches, I was anonymously contacted by two people. One of those individuals was a disgruntled ex-employee named Robert Danoff. The other shall remain anonymous at that person's request. They encouraged me to be skeptical and do fact-checking. Quite frankly, when some stranger asks me for $75,000 sight unseen, my alarm antenna immediate shoots up anyway. Nothing against Robert or the other person but I did not need anyone to tell me to be wary and check things out after someone is feeling out my hind side for $75,000. Being in the publishing business myself, I did know two highly-regarded individuals who were briefly involved with the infomercial business. While I did not know the specifics of the entire arrangement, I knew they did not pony up any money for production costs. The companies that promoted them wanted to work with them and they pitched them. They paid all production costs. They provided their name, talent, and their time. None of this $75,000 upfront fee business which would then be matched by some unknown investors. In any case, the infomercial business did not make sense to me financially given the products I sell. I felt I could do a lot more with $75,000 than someone else can. In any case, I have a negative bias against infomercials. Bottom line, I politely declined and walked away. My investigations and my gut instinct tell me I absolutely did the right thing. I am quite happy with my decision. You can read my previous blog entries here:
I have since been in contact with others who have been very unhappy and angry. Most have been defendants or plaintiffs in their legal fight against the folks at Incredible Discoveries. (All of the parties are listed in the Broward County Clerk of Courts website. This information is public knowledge and easily accessible on the Internet.) Most have a common theme. They made payment anywhere from $25,000 to $50,000. They have allegedly lost it because Incredible Discoveries allegedly "scammed it" by not delivering on the promises. As a disclaimer and to be fair to Incredible Discoveries, I would be irresponsible if I did not say there are two sides to every story. It is your job to get both sides and figure out how it applies to your situation. Your Baby Just Might Be Ugly Many entrepreneurs are so dreamy-eyed about their own products that the idea of some "successful" company has "discovered" them and their products make them emotional and irrational. Like any parent, every entrepreneur loves their own product. It is their baby and it is beautiful (in their eyes). They love their baby so much, they can never believe that their baby might actually be ugly. It would be heresy to say so. They only want to hear how beautiful and wonderful their baby is and show it off to the world. With those euphoric feelings, objectivity and business sense tends to go out the window. Just because you are an entrepreneur with what you think is a great product does not make it so. And even if you do have a wonderful product, things have to make financial and business sense. Also, no matter what vendor you hire, there is always a competitor that you can and should compare to. Don't automatically do business with the first company that meets you. Would you automatically say YES to the first person who asked you out on a date or the first person who proposed marriage? Unless you are desperate or don't know any darn better, the correct answer would be NO! When dealing with any vendor. Get testimonials and references. Get specifics. Have an experienced attorney read contracts. Ask for specific deadlines and milestones and put it in the contract. Have an easy out clause that everyone can live by just in case things don't work out. In any marriage or partnership, there should be an easy way out or it will be a messy, expensive, and unpleasant divorce. Document your interactions and conversations. Keep a paper trail. Deal with a local company if you can. Why deal with someone far away if the talent is nearby? Don't let someone make you fall in love with them just because they tell you your baby is beautiful. You already know that but your baby might not really be that cute. It might even be ugly! Make someone ask why they think it is beautiful. How will they make your baby grow and sell? Remember, talk is cheap. Actions mean more. Current and up-to-date testimonials and references is a requirement. Anyone will take your money if you are willing to give it. Where I Come From $75,000 Buys a Lot I always tell people that where I come from $75,000 cash buys a lot of almost anything you want. I use $75,000 because it did not take long for this number to come up in my negotiations with Incredible Discoveries. The analogy is that whether you are talking $25,000, $50,000, or even $75,000, you might want to think of your alternatives. But if you are determined to have a one-track mind or let someone talk you into a single track without thinking first and checking things first, then you kind of deserve what happens to you. If you have to mortgage your house, raid your savings or retirement account, or dig deep into your credit cards or credit lines, to come up with the money to engage business, I would say you might want to say "Whoa Nelly" and scale back your project. But there are some people who have a "do-or-die" or "bet the house" mentality. Those people may win big or they may lose big. If you have that mindset and you lose, you have no one to blame but yourself. Other people have easy access to the money. But just because you can easily access it, does that mean you have to easily hand it over to a business stranger? But if you can afford to it and don't mind occasionally gambling then go for it. After all, there are some high rollers in this world. But if you were a high roller, wouldn't you want to work with a more well-known establishment with impeccable and indisputable credentials? Just my thinking here. Newer Entrepreneurs Often Lack Good Business Sense I have found that newer and smaller entrepreneurs lack good business sense. They know how to create and sell their product. They are product and subject matter experts. But when they enter business dealings, I have found how shockingly naive these entrepreneurs are. They lack business acumen and business sense. Their passions blind them to the realities of life. And they often don't learn this until it is too late. They are ignorant to the fine print of how contracts and agreements work. Read the fine print! If you don't understand, have someone else help you read it. Don't be rushed. Opportunities are abundant in life. Don't be another naive entrepreneur to find out the hard way how the legal system works and DOESN'T work. Invest in Media (TV & Radio) Publicity Education If you are aching to spend money to get on TV, I would recommend you first order these books from Amazon. For less than $80, you can buy ALL of these great books and get smarter about how TV and radio work with guests who want to promote their books and products. These are excellent books that will give you insights about getting on TV and radio.
I have personally read each book and found the information quite valuable. Becoming a guest on TV and radio is far more reputable and credible than infomericials anyday. The best part of it all is that it is FREE. You do not pay to be a guest on TV or radio. You simply give your time. If you want to spend money, then I would hire a reputable publicist. Two reputable publicists I know are: If you have the money to spend on an infomercial, you are going to get wondrous results from good publicists who actually teach you a few things along the way. I have ordered three books on the infomercial business. I cannot tell you if I recommend them yet. But if you are curious to what I ordered, they are:
I never planned to order these books but since I am preparing to get on TV & Radio myself next year as a media guest plus all the research I've put into this information page, I figured I may as well get more educated into the inner workings of the infomercial business. Where There is Smoke There is Fire I have a tendency to believe where there is smoke, there is fire. It doesn't mean for sure there the fire is where you think it is but there is fire nonetheless. I am a guy that tends to run a different direction if I see smoke coming my way. If you must deal with smoke, go work with a fire you started, not smoke that is coming from someone or somewhere else! Think and look carefully or you might get burned! Let me give you an example. Every city has some rough areas known for being dangerous for one reason or another. If you know an area is dangerous and yet you are foolhardy to try to look for gold and silver-lining in these areas, you better be knowledgeable and be prepared to take the risk of going into such areas. It doesn't mean every person or every store in that area is bad but if you are not an expert in that area, why bother? There are plenty of nicer and safer places to visit. And so, the infomercial business is the same way. It doesn't mean every character is bad news but unless you have done your homework on the infomercial business by checking several companies out, their references, credentials, references, and so forth, you are asking to be greatly disappointed on the outcome. You might want to read these sites: I obviously cannot vouch for the accuracy of the information on these sites but they are interesting reading. Is There Negative Karma at Work Here? One of the things I find quite peculiar in my research for this webpage is the passionate intensity of hate directed towards the "Incredible Discoveries" group of companies. While there are many corporate entities centered around 2001 W. Sample Rd, Suite 101, Pompano Beach, FL and those that registered agent and attorney Patricia Klein appears to represent, my feeling is that it comes down to a very small group of core individuals that this "hate" is being directed to, all of it related to the infomercial business. It seems that new ventures with new corporate entities are being launched every year. If they are so successful, why are they always moving on to something new? Why not build on past successes with the same companies? There also appears to be corporate entities that get shut down or otherwise "discarded" over time. What is it that they are doing that compels either (presumably) disgruntled ex-employees or ex-clients to pursue them so relentlessly and mercilessly with such revealing information and inflammatory accusations? Most of the information I have on this webpage was first brought to me by others and I subsequently did the bulk of my own independent research on Google, sunbiz.org, and corporationwiki.com. I have tried to be objective but admittedly my writing has a slant towards the negative because I am simply suspicious. I have been upfront with this since Day 1. I believe in karma. Somehow and some way, these folks have generated an intense amount of negative karma. The question you have to ask yourself is, do you want to be caught up in someone else's ongoing onslaught of negative karma? It seems like every 5-6 months, someone has to send me information that piques my interest enough to update this webpage. I am a big believer of karma and that a greater good is being served by my informing others of my findings and letting others draw their own conclusions. Alleged BrandStar Employee Contacts, Then Accuses Me I was contacted by an alleged BrandStar employee who wanted to speak with me regarding the information on this page. Of course, I blatantly state on the top of this page that I am not interested in speaking to anyone regarding this because nearly everything I know or want to say is right here on this web page. Most of it is self-explanatory if you simply click through the links. Frankly, it is a waste of my time to talk about it and I have no intentions of getting dragged into someone else's fight and/or problems. This alleged BrandStar employee gives me no name whatsoever and expects that I will simply open up and have a friendly conversation with him over a subject I dislike. I reply back to him and then he accuses me of being "fired for something" and I am "stirring up trouble". He is an idiot because he is the one contacting me over this from out of the blue with no name and I obviously don't know him from jack. Since he was stupid enough to contact me when I openly tell people not to contact me about this subject and then he decides to wrongfully accuse me of "being fired for something" and "stirring up trouble", I have decided to reprint his emails here. It is quite unbelievable. You can judge for yourself what this alleged BrandStar employee is all about. You can guess what my opinion of him is.
Obviously, my last email to jhc0615@aol.com (whoever he is) was written in a sarcastic tone. This alleged employee fully deserves his job at BrandStar Entertainment. Use Response Magazine as Part of Your Research Two years ago (Aug-2007), I was contacted by an Associate Editor of Response magazine regarding a potential story on Incredible Discoveries. They never went through with the story. However, I remembered their name. It wasn't hard to find them on the Internet and I subsequently signed up for a FREE subscription to their magazine. Although I do not read it religiously, I do flip through the pages each month. I have found this magazine to be a good starting point who want to find a variety of vendors within the infomercial (direct response) industry. I like having the freedom and option of contacting whomever I choose. I don't like someone contacting me with what appears a singular option. While I do not officially endorse Response magazine, its vendors, or its content, I do find the magazine informative and a good starting research point for those determined to engage the infomercial industry. To me, it is very much still "let the buyer beware". If You Feel You Have Been Wronged... ... Do something meaningful. Most people like to bitch and complain but not put anything into writing. Most people like to threaten and not follow through with their threats. Most people don't have a backbone and they get rolled over. Most people bitch randomly and arbitrarily. They often bitch to the wrong people that don't make a difference. One source is the Florida Attorney General's Office. If you have been wronged, I feel sorry for you but there is very little I can do for you. I am not an attorney and I cannot be your counselor. I am not empowered by anyone to represent anyone except for myself. I am an aggressive fighter when provoked but I don't get into fights if I have not been attacked. When I was "wronged" by a local collection agency, I discovered there was plenty of others who were also wronged. It was a relatively simple matter to gather the information, collect phone calls, compile the data given to me, and put up an informational website. As a group, we contacted the local media that ultimately lead to law enforcement getting involved. I never once threatened to file a lawsuit. I was interested in pursuing criminal charges and gathering LOTS of publicity. I practice what I preach. If you want to see an example of the success of the scam-busting campaign I was involved with, visit CobraCollectionScam.com. It might give you some good ideas. It was a great tool last year for everyone involved including law enforcement officials. But if you are too afraid of attracting attention, to fight, speak up, or confront someone then you partly deserve what happens to you. I have been an idiot before. I have made mistakes. I have been suckered before. But I can promise you, I did not take it sitting down or go into hiding. I didn't just rant and rave. I put my God-given brain to work to formulate a plan of action to get justice and I actively spoke out. That is simply how I do things but you will have to figure out what works for you. Good luck to you. If You Need Legal Representation
He often represents smaller entrepreneurs against wrongful actions of "corporate bullies". Oscar has taken on several high-profile cases in his career. A Google seach on "Oscar Michelen" reveals the extent of his service within the legal community. I have personally consulted with Oscar on a different case and I find him very competent and delightful to deal with. He is personable, insightful, and has a tremendously analytical mind. To contact Oscar, you can reach him at his email address: omichelen@sbmlegal.com. Or you can call to make an appointment for a free consultation at his Toll-free #: 800-640-2000. If you are outside of the U.S., call 212-517-3200. (Please be prepared, have your facts straight, be concise, and be respectful when you communicate with Oscar. During the consultation, please do not be long-winded and wear him out. He is being gracious about this. Be courteous to him and mindful of his time.)
My Relationship with Attorney Oscar Michelen In the interest of fair disclosure, I should report that Oscar and I have become business associates and friends. Our relationship has grown nicely since I began working with him last year on the Getty Images Settlement Demand Letter Controversy.. In fact, we got together for the first time in Atlanta to make some videos you may find helpful.

O2 Media President/CEO Emails Letter to Independent Publisher & Reporter On October 24, 2009, I was emailed a letter from O2 Media President/CEO, Gerald M. Czarnecki. I subsequently received the identical letter via Certified Mail. The letter is self-explanatory. In the interest of transparency, I will respond to him in publicly in a letter posted here.
O2 Media Sued by Scott Woolley & Five Star Productions A reader of this page recently forwarded an October 19, 2009 newspaper article. The article aws written by "Palm Beach Post" Staff Writer, Alexandra Clough. TV firm sues partner over business failure. If the Palm Peach Post website is down, you can read a copy of the PDF version here. In March 2010, I discovered a follow-up article by Alexandra Clough that reports the case has "ended quietly". You can read a copy of the PDF version here. The mini-article is the highlighted one, 3rd one down. Corporate Background of Incredible Discoveries According to the Florida Division of Corporations, Incredible Discoveries was a registered fictious name orignally filed on September 29, 2003 in Broward County. It expired on December 31, 2008. The Owner is listed as Immediate Capital Group Inc. According to the Florida Division of Corporations, Immediate Capital Group Inc. was formed on September 14, 1999 and is located in Pompano Beach, Florida. However, the Incredible Discoveries website lists their primary location in Deerfield Beach, FL. According to Immediate Capital Group's Articles of Incorporation, Mark Alfieri and Jack Levine are the two founding principals of this company. They are listed as Directors in Annual Reports from 2000 to 2003. In September 2003, an Articles Amendment states that Mary Eade became a new Director of Immediate Capital Group as both Mark and Jack are removed as Directors. Mary Eade remains as Director as stated in Annual Reports for 2004 and 2005. In August 2005, Mary Eade is removed as Director and Doug Campbell is added as Director. Interestingly, in December 2005 (only 4 month later), Doug Campbell is removed as Director but Dawn Halloran is added as Secretary. From what I can tell, there are now no publicly disclosed Directors or Officers of the company except for Dawn Halloran. If the company is so big, why is there no listed President, Vice-President, CEO, CFO, or Treasurer which are often listed? I have received additional information that led me to verify on MyFloridaCounty.com that Mary Eade is actually Mary Philomena Eade who married Mark Anthony Alfieri on March 3, 1994 in Palm Beach County, Instrument #19940075339, Book/Page #: 8149/558. There is nothing inherently wrong with this in itself but it does create the appearance that principal parties are unrelated. I was informed that Mary's brother, Eddie Eade at some point worked for one of the related companies relating to warehouse operations and client inventory. I have been told that Dawn Halloran also goes by the name Dee Halloran in the course of company business. Address Changes According to the Annual Reports of 2000 to 2002, Immediate Capital Group's primary place of business is at:
The 2003 Annual Report lists the principal address as:
Sometime after the filing of the 2003 Annual Report, the September 2003 Amendment and Registered Agent changes list the new principal address:
This address appears to be the company's best known principal address according to the Incredible Discoveries website as well as various customer letters and documents. This address is in effect for Annual Reports 2004, 2005, and 2006. The 2007 Annual Report lists another address:
This address appears to be current for the 2008 Annual Report. More recently, the help of CorporationWiki, I discovered there is an Incredible Discoveries Distribution Services LLC and an Incredible Discoveries Inc. Essentially, there are now 3 corporations all using the "Incredible Discoveries" mark. I would like to comment that changes of addresses in themselves are nowhere close to being unethical, immoral, or criminal. We are in the U.S. We can move anywhere we want anytime we want. However, most stable and established businesses don't move around unless there is a good reason. I have no idea what the reasons for the changes were. However, I will say I am most curious as to why Immediate Capital Group (aka Incredible Discoveries) left their Deerfield Beach office location. Court Cases Immediate Capital Group Inc. has a respectable list of 20+ court cases listed in the Broward County Clerk of Courts website. They are plaintiffs far more frequently than they are defendants. There are currently 3 cases pending and unresolved. Incredible Discoveries also has a respectable list of 20+ court cases listed in the Broward County Clerk of Courts website. They are plaintiffs far more frequently than they are defendants. There are currently 4 cases pending and unresolved. I would have thought the number of outstanding cases would be the same but it appears that a few of the lawsuits are listed in the database as Incredible Cap Group Inc. instead of Incredible Capital Group Inc. Essentially, with every listing of Incredible Discoveries as a party, there should be a corresponding listing of Immediate Capital Group Inc. Related Companies Tricom Pictures & Productions Inc. appears to be a related company to Immediate Capital Group Inc. based on information listed by the Florida Division of Corporations:
According to the Florida Division of Corporations, Tricom Pictures & Productions Inc. was formed on November 27, 1991. However, it was administratively dissolved on September 14, 2007 for not filing an Annual Report. Whether this was an oversight or intentional is unclear. What is clear is that the Registered Agent resigned on March 11, 2008. With no Registered Agent and the State of Florida's Administrative Dissolution, Tricom Pictures & Productions Inc. is no longer a corporation in good standing and technically does not exist anymore. According to Broward County Clerk of Courts website, Tricom Pictures has an impressive 100+ court cases listed. Interestingly, there appears to still be one court case pending. Now that the State of Florida has administratively dissolved Tricom Pictures, I wonder how it will affect that case. Proportionally speaking, Tricom Pictures found itself as a defendant in court more frequently than Immediate Capital Group. National Shopping Club Inc. appears to be a related company to Immediate Capital Group Inc. based on information listed by the Florida Division of Corporations:
According to the Florida Division of Corporations, Fulvio of Italy Inc. was formed on May 15, 1989 with a name change to National Shopping Club Inc. on June 18, 1999, and administratively dissolved on October 1, 2004. According to Broward County Clerk of Courts website, National Shopping Club Inc. is listed 8 times. There were both plaintiffs and defendants the same amount of times. Unlike the other related companies, Mark Alfieri's listed involvement in this company either does not exist or was not publicly disclosed. My best guess is that on of Mark Alfieri's business associates was the true owner and operator of this company. O2 Media Services Group Inc. (now renamed DR Marketing Group Inc. as of November 10, 2008) appears to be a new but related company to Immediate Capital Group Inc. based on information listed by the Florida Division of Corporations:
According to Broward County Clerk of Courts website, O2 Media Services Group Inc. has no court cases listed. However, I would be surprised if they did since this is a very new corporation. O2 Production Studios Inc. appears to be a related (but defunct as of 2006) company based on information listed by the Florida Division of Corporations:
They appeared to sign a lease because on August 6, 2008, United Properties of South Florida and/or RB Properties of South Florida filed for "Removal of Tenant" against O2 Production Studios Inc. This sounds like an eviction. Generally, evictions are filed against tenants that cannot pay their rent. O2 Executive Services Inc. appears to be appears to be a related company based on information listed by the Florida Division of Corporations:
Quorum Productions Inc. appears to be a related company that was established on June 3, 2004.
According to Broward County Clerk of Courts website, Quorum Productions Inc. has 14 court cases listed. Intelibrands Group LLC appears to be a related company that was recently established on October 29, 2008.
Robert Danoff's Alleged Retraction Statement In the interest of fairness, I am posting Robert Danoff's retraction statement. This was emailed to me by Lynne Gayle of O2 Media Services Group Inc. He was a disgruntled employee who provided many insights to me. Having spoken to Robert many times last year, I am quite certain he did not write that letter. It is clearly not his style. I believe it was written for him to sign. I believe it was a condition of settlement so that the ongoing lawsuits against him would stop. I won't endorse or criticize Robert's signing of the retraction letter but I can understand it. Reports Submitted to Florida Attorney General's Office There were alleged reports submitted to the Florida Attorney General's Office. I wanted to find out myself if that were true. I made a phone inquiry where I informed Becky at the Office that I was doing a report and needed to do some fact-finding and fact-checking. I told her I only needed complaints, not general inquiries for information on Incredible Discoveries. What I received was about 24 pages worth of FAXed information. The Office of Citizen Services FAX cover sheet states 40 pages but I only received 21 pages in the first batch. I received 3 pages in the second batch. Becky told me she must have incorrectly estimated the page count because there were not 40 pages. I deleted the general inquiries and Robert Danoff's (ex-employee) inquiry pages to save on page count and file size. I was only interested in what people who actually did business with Incredible Discoveries reported to the Florida Attorney General's Office. Press Releases Galore I think the Incredible Discoveries folks are very smart. A casual Google search reveals a large number of press releases. While self-promotion is not a bad thing, when people do research on a company and its products, most knowledgeable people want some legitimate and reputable 3rd-party information, not just self-released promotional statements. You can find 3rd-party information but you have to dig your way through all the self-promotion announcements. It appears I can learn a thing or two from these folks. I like the Press Releases idea. You can fill up the Google searches with your own content vs. other people's content. Incorrect Corporate & Fictitious Name Usage In two of those press releases, they are intentionally or unintentionally providing incorrect corporate information to the public. The later press releases states that "Incredible Discoveries" is owned by O2 Media Inc. This is incorrect on two counts.
In another press release, they state that Quorum Productions is a division of O2 Media Inc. As a personal comment, it makes me nervous when a company cannot get its true corporate name or structure right. Even with the errors, they are not consistent. Whether it is intentional or not, details absolutely matter. Some people might construe this "sloppiness" as being "loose with the facts". CorporationWiki Goldmine I stumbled on to the CorporationWiki.com during a Google Search of "Incredible Discoveries". It revealed so much more information than I could ever follow-up on. I discovered "Incredible Discoveries Inc." and "Incredible Discoveries Distribution Services LLC". Through these 2 listings, it lead me to many other links. There is a link to 26 other companies that have companies based at:
Most appear to be related companies because they share the same address. Many of these company names appear to be related to the infomercial industry. They all appear to share the same Registered Agent, Patricia Klein. A link to the Registered Agent, Patricia Klein, reveals all the companies she has assisted and related to. Ms. Klein appears to be tied into many of the same companies that were listed at 2001 W. Sample Rd, Suite 101. Most appear to be infomercial industry related. But there are some that appear to be totally unrelated. BrandStar Entertainment Is A Related Business Someone emailed me wanting to speak with me to learn more about O2 Media and BrandStar Entertainment. I replied that I did not have much more information to offer than what was already on this website. Additionally, I had never heard of BrandStar Entertainment until now. My curiousity got the better of me and I did a quick seach on Google and the sunbiz.org website and what did I find? There is a BrandStar Entertainment LLC that was formed on September 30, 2008. It appears to be a related company due to the following:
In my search, there appears to be an individual (or individuals) that really have it in for these folks. There are detailed and outspoken posts accusing BrandStar Entertainment and the related companies as being outright scams. There are other posts but they are too inflammatory for me to list here. As I have said, I do not know enough to accuse them of being an outright scam but I feel a great deal of caution is certainly warranted. I also have mixed feelings that entire articles on this webpage was "borrowed and used" in one of the posts because I don't want my words to be distorted or taken out of context. People should read my words here in the context it was meant to be presented. What seems to be VERY credible is the listing of allegedly related companies. I found it insightful. I have not verified the accuracy that EVERY company listed is, in fact, a "related company" but I will say nearly every company I researched on my webpage does show up on that list and appears to be a related company. This appears to be the work of a very unhappy ex-employee or ex-client. Reader Submits Her BrandStar Entertainment Story I was sent an email which I followed up with a phone conversation. During her 45-minute phone call with a BrandStar rep, she told me how her discussion shifted from a conversational one to a script-reading one. The script-reading process (as told to me) covers a lot of the legalites of what Balance Act will do. Most interesting is the amount they asked for. They asked for an upfront amount in the range of $35,000 to $42,000 to be on the Balance Act show. I have not seen the show but this person told me that when she watched the show, there is no indication that this is a pay-service. I have relationships with 2 well-regarded publicists who book clients to TV and radio shows. Guests NEVER pay to be on radio or TV shows. You can read my separate article if you want to find out how to get publicity. Submit New Information & Share Your Stories If you have some helpful information, first-hand information, or corrections to this website, feel free to email them to me at: If you feel you want to tell me something important by phone, I want you to know that you have to be prepared to have the phone conversation recorded. It doesn't mean that I will not respect your request for anonymity. I am generally good about that. But you will absolutely have to identify who you are or I won't talk to you. I am trying to dissuade people from making up stories or exaggerating. Last thing, don't call asking me what I think about Incredible Discoveries. I have said what I need to say on my Blog and on this Information Page. It is not good use of my time and not really a fun subject to talk about and dwell on. The Internet allows me to acknowledge a situation a couple of times and then move on. If you can afford the extravagant fee for infomercial services, you should be smart enough to figure it out or at least afford someone that can give you some good advice and an informed opinion. But that person is not me. Good luck to you.
