I wonder what it says that I like the following:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Elvis Presley<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Celine Dion<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>ABBA<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Blondie<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Madonna<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Wham!<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Billy Joel<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Chicago<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Hall &amp; Oates<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Deborah Gibson<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Olivia Newton-John<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Barry Manilow (especially the remakes of other people&#8217;s songs)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Duran Duran<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Eagles<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Cher<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Bananarama<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Gloria Estefan<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Linda Rondstadt<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Prince<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Dan Fogelberg<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Michael Jackson<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The Glee Cast<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Lady Gaga<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Yes, a lot of these choices do seem to be &#8220;oldies&#8221; by today&#8217;s standards.&nbsp; I can live with it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">===<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">These are some of my favorite TV shows.&nbsp; I know some are cancelled but I still miss them.&nbsp; Ever since I got TIVO, I have had to exercise some discretion in what and how much I watch TV.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Harry&#8217;s Law<\/strong> (The latest legal dramedy show by producer David Kelley)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>The Good Wife<\/strong> <em>(Juliana Margulies is simply magnificent as the star of this show.<\/em> <em>The storylines are engaging.)<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Glee<\/strong> <em>(Surprisingly, I like this show! The bubble gum music is simply infectious.<\/em> This show reminds me how happy I am to be out of high school.)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Larry King Live<\/strong> <em>(The Great Interviewer)<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>The O&#8217;Reilly Factor<\/strong> <em>(Bill is always direct and to the point.)<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Grey&#8217;s Anatomy<\/strong><em> (A medical&nbsp;ensemble show that I consider a great dramedy.&nbsp; Has soapy suds, humor, wit, and heart all in one show.)<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Private Practice<\/strong><em> (Spin-off of Grey&#8217;s Anatomy.&nbsp; Not quite as good as Grey&#8217;s Anatomy but I am a fan of Kate Walsh &amp; her quirky character, Dr. Addison Montgomery.)<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Battlestar Galactica<\/strong> <em>(current series which is very gritty, not the old goofy one)<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>24<\/strong> <em>(Is this an intense show or what?&nbsp; Best seen&nbsp;through&nbsp;the DVD set.&nbsp; Takes too long to watch the entire season on regular TV)<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Dr. Phil<\/strong><em> (He tells it like it is!)<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Judge Judy<\/strong><em> (She is no-nonsense, wastes no time,&nbsp;and gets to the point!)<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>The Apprentice<\/strong> <em>(What entrepreneur doesn&#8217;t watch this show especially with Donald Trump in it?&nbsp; However, the upcoming &#8220;Celebrity Apprentice&#8221; scares me a bit.)<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>The West Wing<\/strong> <em>(One of the smartest shows I have ever watched.)<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Smallville <\/strong><em>(Hey, it is part of the Superman mythos!)<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Sex &amp; the City<\/strong><em> (The 4 women are funny as heck, so are their adventures! Enjoyed the 2008 movie and want to see the 2010 movie.)<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Friends<\/strong><em> (I grew to love this show by watching the DVDs.)<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Star Trek TV Series<\/strong> <em>(I like nearly all of the Star Trek TV Series but The Next Generation, Deep Space Nine, and Voyager were best.&nbsp; Classic Star Trek is ok but has not aged well.&nbsp; Enterprise was good in the 4th and final season.)<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>They say you can tell something by the music a person likes.
